normally it's 5 bucks there some exception where you might have to pay 10, but you don't need to pay the full price, just the amount they ask for which is usually 5 bucks.
I work at Gamestop. And yea, you have to put down $10 for Prime 3. . . .if anybody is thinking about it, you have to also put $25 down for the full set of Rock Band!. . .But yeah. . .

I'm gonna go down to the shops and buy it when it comes out, no need to preorder, I have never heard of a game shortage in all my years of gaming. Console shortages yes, but games....
