For Fps games that require you to aim with the Wii pointer (which is most of them!), surely playing with 4 people could be pretty tough, particularly on small TVs. Firstly, getting 4 people lined up with the sensor is pretty tough, and secondly with 4 tiny screens aiming is surely pretty tough. Has anyone done it with Red Steel? How is it?

I've done it with a 28 inch TV, and it's possible.

decent sized screen+decent sized room=4 player fun small room+small screen=useless But if you asked me, any game (on wii or other console) with 4-player split screen on a small screen has allways been rubish.

Hmm, fair enough-im currently using a 15 inch, but am probably going to get a 27 inch over the summer so that should be ok.

how would aiming be any different on the Wii with 4 screens from a regular splitscreen 4 player game? And what do you mean lined up with the sensor? To answer your question, no it's not tough.

actually red steel works amazingly well. smallest ive used is 19 inches and it worked cool 4 player, there were no sensor problems, kinda cool. and 2 player is probs better for smaller tv's.

So you've never played Goldeneye or Perfect Dark back in the day?

yes, and 4 player split screen golden-eye on a 17 inch screen is pointless. i can barely see where i'm shooting. on a bigger screen - now thats amazing.

Possible, but not every player gets a decent sensor bar image.  My friends who were off center of the screen had trouble turning.

red steel works just fine......no major probelms with 6 ppl on the couch...so two ppl were at an angle...at first there seemed to nbe a slight issue..but after we closed the blinds..problem was gone...so angle doesn't affectt much since....the signal goes both to the wii console and the sensor bar......heck..u could get away with having the wii face left at an angle and the sensor bar face to the right at an angle..ythats we ended up doing. it works fine.  bigger screen just lets u see beter thats all.
