Muramasa The Demon Blade: new gameplay video

The waves at the end always wow me, so gorgeous. The beauty of Odin Sphere + faster action + no slowdowns and hopefully not as much repetition = WIN!

EDIT: this is from the TGS demo btw so if you think it looks too easy and simple, they made it that way specially for the show. So before judging it based on this, let's wait for the game to come out. ;)

If you're talking about looks, this is one of the most beautiful looking game out there imo. As far as gameplay, I'll wait. Odin Sphere had some problems so I'm not ready to jump the gun on that. However one of the big problem with OS was the slowdowns which are no more in this. That's a big +.

One other thing with OS was that there was 5 characters running through the same stages over and over. This time there's 2 characters so that alone should make things less repetitve.

If they manage to solve the flaws found in OS, this should be a pretty sweet game.

I couldn't get into Odin Sphere but I liked Grim Grimoire Vannilaware games have good graphics but I didn't care for Odin SPhere gameplay

It does look like one to me too. A really really good one. I just can't see this game and not think Viewtiful Joe (That's not a good thing IMO as I detest VJ) with Better designed characters (That I'd actually play with) hopefully a Much better Storyline, great art style and coloration & Hopefully great controls.

The only thing I can see about this game is that the stages are broke up into enemy segments instead of one large stage with enemies already planted there but it still looks lke an awesome game. Here's to hoping for another really cool Wii Game.
