[QUOTE="Cyber-"]There are a TON of pet peeves with the whole Wii interface menu esp channels. The new channel coming out will let you look into games more.XxAK47xXya i hears about that. Does any one know whan it will be coming out
I think I heard around 30th May? Im going to have to check that out though, couldnt seem to find a link on an initial search.
My main pet peeve is that you can't download timed demos of Virtual Console games(like SSBB's Masterpieces)...that, and the current "WiiWare" section is actually more of a channel download section(though this will be rectified when they launch WiiWare over in the States).NamelessPlayer
if Wiiware had its own channel that would only make the whole interface even more unwieldy. Im glad they put it in the Shopping channel. I hate how every VC game has its own channel and you dont have a way to put them all in one channel to be viewed.
Nintendo seems to be getting a nice penny out of their VC's,
and the ratio of this penny to their user interface quality is quite horrendous.
True ^^^^
Most fanboy hater trolls complain about lack of games, teh kiddy, and Nintendo only releasing the big three. We all know that not true esp when SSBB, MKW, Okami, and Bully are all out in a matter of 2 months. The REAL complaints that you never hear from them because they never have really played a Wii goes deeeper into the system. I feel I am always taking 2 or 3 more steps whenevenr it comes to online, menus, or anything that has to do with interface. Why cant Nintendo just fix it. the actual skeleton of the WIi menu is really nice but it lacks so many features like VC channel why cant we get this I have so many games sprawled across the menu its so annoying. WHy cant the HOME button do more than check wiimote and go back to the wii menu? I would like to see the an on board clock, possibly let us turn on music. and stuff like that.
I wish the whole channel was just quicker tookenji_5
Yeah, seriously. It's amazing... I get 800 KB/s download speeds and yet the Wii shop channel feels like it's going the speed my modem did 10 years ago when it was hooked up to the phone line. Each page they return doesn't have that much content on it. It's text and small preview images. It should take like 2 seconds to load, but instead it's like 15+ seconds every time you hit "next".
They must have like 3 servers running the entire shop, and each computer is probably 8 years old at least.

No, that's not how it works in Japan. Over there, the Wii Shop Channel has changed to feature three sections: Virtual Console, WiiWare(as in the downloadable games that aren't emulated), and Channel Downloads. Certainly, you've seen screenshots of it when looking up WiiWare...[QUOTE="Cyber-"][QUOTE="NamelessPlayer"]My main pet peeve is that you can't download timed demos of Virtual Console games(like SSBB's Masterpieces)...that, and the current "WiiWare" section is actually more of a channel download section(though this will be rectified when they launch WiiWare over in the States).NamelessPlayer
