By the right and left hinge. My last two DS LIte's Had cracks on the same exact place, and eventually it would break off the DS and I couldn't play it anymore. Should send it back or just buy a new one?

Yeah, I got it last December. The bad thing is, I know that it will keep on cracking for every one I buy. I don't know why I am the only one who has this problem.

Well you're not the only one who has this problem, and no, they won't keep cracking. Some of the early run DSlite's have had issues, that have since been rectified. And it's only a very small percentage, so you're one of the unlucky few who got hit TWICE. Mine's cracked in half, but the new one has since had no problems.

That's... unusual. Are you sure you aren't doing anything different that my cause this, like throwing your ds down a flight of stairs or running it over with your car?

Yeah they were fairly common at the beginning of the DSlite but have since been fixed so don't worry about it just have Nintendo fix it, since they have an outstanding broken/replacement policy.

I didn't do anything to it. I think I just have bad luck with DS's. My firs one I dropped and the screen cracked, my next one I put fishing line on the stylus and connected it to my DS (Because I kept on losing it. I was playing it in the dark and the fishing line got caught in where you put the game, so I returned it. My NEXT DS's screen got really scratched up from Pokemon Dash so I decided to buy a DS Lite. About a year later IT cracked on the hinge and pretty much in half, and the one I got had a few dead Squares on it so I sent it back and got another one with a few dead squares. I sent it back and got one that also had a few dead squares on it. (By now you probalbly think i'm just making it but but it really happened) It was in the middle of winter though. I got the one I have now, and it's hinges are starting to crack just like my first one and it's screen suddenly turns white for a few seconds occasionsally. My mom won't let me send anymore back, so I am going to have ot buy a new one if this one breaks.
