I have recently switched over to PSP and I am not working on my PSP collection. So, while I am still playing my DS, I am not buying anything new.

So, I just had a b-day party since I just turned 14 on Valentine's Day, and my friend has FFIII for DS. So, he let me start a file, and I LOVE IT! ^.^' I want it, and I almost have enough money. I can most likely get it this coming Tuesday. But, do you think this is a good choice to buy? If it isn't a good choice, I will just buy a PSP game instead. But I want to know if I should get my old DS one more good game...

No flaming about me not buying any DS game because I have a PSP now, because I don't choose sides. I play my DS and my PSP, I just need more PSP games ATM. When I get a good amount, I might just save up my money. But please, no flaming.

FF3 is great. It will last you upwards of 35 hours, and it's really well done. Very much worth the purchase. We really don't care about your story of traitorism, though.

Not really 35. I'm at the last dungeon(which is a complete pain in the a$$) and I'm at 30 hours and I have no interest in replaying it because of its difficulty.

plus or minus 5 hours is really quite negligible, as it depends on how much grinding you do. I was rounding down, too, as I played it for closer to 40 hours.

Well, personally I didn't like how challenging it is and how old school it seems.... however if you have already played it and like it then go ahead and buy it.

Great. I am glad to hear no one actually cares about me switching to PSP. People used to come into the DS boards and start fights because someone said PSP. I love grinding in SOME games. Most games are boring when you have to grind. I hate Pokemon grind, but Castlevania grind isn't that bad... So, the grind wouldn't bother me. And it is also good to hear that it is long. I know it is hard because my friend was having troubles. I hope I can buy this game, because it looks amazing... I just hate playing my old DS Brick... I want a Lite, but i'm don't want to ask for another DS. If I start buying more games for DS I will ask for a Lite... ANYWAY, thanks for the reassurance.

i had 50 hours then i beat it.  i went into the last dungeon (the first time) with 34 hours...you do the math.

hours and hours of leveling, and a sage sage ninja ninja party.  it's pretty tough

Why does it have to be "switching?" Why not just play both?

When has anyone ever needed to grind in Pokemon games? XD But get FFIII, it's probably the best DS game out. It can be hard, but with a walkthrough to tell you where to go, it's easy.

I'll own a PSP when its defining game(at least to me) comes out- Final fantasy tactics: the lions war. I like my DS very much, and the last game I got for it is Contact. Hotel Dusk should be up next.

I don't see why people have to fight over which system is better... They are both awesome. I am just trying to get more PSP games now, not really switching and only playing one thing. System wars are so stupid.
