My SSB Brawl disc will not play! There are no scratches on it.

There is not a single scratch on it whatsoever. It's completely clean. It just won't play. It's been this way for a good while. I was able to get it to play before but now I keep wiping it down and it won't play at all. I don't want to waste $50 on a new disc for no reason.

its because brawl uses a different kind of disc and your disc drive is dirty so all u nneed to do is a disc drive cleaner

just go to gamestop and ask for a wii lens cleaning kit

My other Wii games play flawlessly, though. Brawl is "different"?

Brawl is a dual layered disc, which means it has more space than the original wii discs. So far, Brawl is the only game that uses dual ayered. Most if not all people like me were lucky to not have the problem. Like what harryone1 said, go to your gamestop and ask for a wii lens cleaning kit.

Buy the Official Nintendo Wii Lens Cleaning Kit from a local games shop and that should free your console from the collected dust.

I have this same problem and already tried using a CD cleaning kit but it was ineffective as it requires the CD to be "played". Any other ideas if I don't have a Gamestop shop or none of the electronics shops carries the Wii laser cleaning kit?

I would highly reccomend not using anything but the nintendo brand wii lens cleaning kit. Don't stick other crap in your wii.

it was made by N to work for the wii. If stores around you don't have it, I bet you could google it and find it pretty quickly:)
