I read some articles about console bending problems due to overheating. I checked mine(i bought it a week ago) and I realized that it is band a little bit. Is that normal or is it going to get worse? Has anyone else has a small bend?
if your joycons fit fine..... if the screen fits fine in the dock.... if it doesnt bother you when you are looking at the screen and playing. then dont worry about it....imo
yes it gets very hot when you play with it docked.... but i doubt it will ever get so bent that it becomes a problem.
I've never heard or seen anything like that, so I guess it is not normal.
I've played the Switch a shitload since release and sometimes for many hours at a time making the console really warm (both in handheld and docked mode), but there haven't been any problems yet. I always have it in sleepmode. I think I've shut mine completely off only once since launch.
So maybe that small bend(some mm) is a manufacturing variation. In docked mode it really gets hot. In handheld its really cool. Thanks for your replies guys.
Some girl left her switch in sleep mode all of the time and it doesn't always turn off making the switch hotter than normal which can then make it bend some.
I've played mine almost every day since I got it at launch, and I actually checked yesterday. There's an extremely slight bend, so small you can't barely see it when you have a ruler on it, but I have no idea if it was always like that or not. It certainly isn't made of the strongest material, that's for sure.
