I'd say only a third of those will be quality games. And half of that third won't see daylight outside Japan. And who said the next Call of Duty was coming to the Wii? And isn't Deadly Creatures supposed to come out later this December?AlexSaysDeadly Creatures was moved to February and I think Modern Warfare 2 should come to Wii, especially after WaW. Infinity Ward can only do better.
thats a good list my top 10 out of those are
1. The Condult
2. Madworld
3. Muramasa: the demon blade
4. Arc Rise Fantasia
5. Rune Factory: Frontier
6. Fragile
7. fatal frame
8. Sin and punishment 2
9. Sonic And the Black Knight
10. Little Kings Story

Considering that there are still 2009 games that haven't been announced, 2009 is going to definitely be a stronger year for the Wii then 2008 was. Hopefully many of the games listed above live up to or surpass expectations. All you need is a handful of the upper-tier games (i.e. Conduit, Muramasa, Madworld, etc.) to be 9.0+ calibur games and it will be a good year.AppleBlade

I personally think it's going to be a good game, however it will get hammered in reviews because everyone is going to compare it to the 360 version instead of judging it on it's own merits.[QUOTE="AppleBlade"]The following are the top 25 Wii games that I'm interested in for 2009. Have you seen gameplay footage? The framerate can't stay steady with like 20 zombies on screen. Unless the developers wake up and do it right, there really isn't any chance for it.
Great List. I'd agree with everything except Madworld.
The art is great but the vulgarity of the game is not my thing.
Little Kings Story to me looks like yet another Animal Cross/My Sims Kingdom so not interested.
COD:MWII will probably come to the Wii given they now have a COD4 engine developed for the Wii and can noq work to improve it. However, if that sells in the same low numbers as COD:WAW did then I don't think we'll get any others.
Cursed Mountain, Deadly Creatures, Ghostbusts, The Conduit and Madworld are my top 5 at the moment.
Do you guys think the wii-makes of Metroid Prime 1 & 2, and Pikmin 1 & 2 are coming out in 2009? That would be awesome since I only got about half way through Metroid Prime and never played MP2 or either pikmin game.

I'd say it's pretty likely that all of the announced Wiimakes are out by the end of 2009, so yes.
And the list is quite good as well, I would take out Dead Rising and HAWX and throw in a few of the WiiWare games I'm looking forward too. But still a very good list.
Can't say I'm really looking forward to 2009 regarding Wii games. There are a few that have the potential to be great, such as MadWorld, The Conduit, Sin & Punishment 2, House of the Dead, Fatal Frame IV, World of Goo [still to be debuted in Europe], etc., but my guess is that only in 2010 we'll see outstanding stuff when the new Zelda, Dragon Quest X, No More Heroes 2 and Monster Hunter 3 finally come out. Still, there's always hope that something unexpected may be revealed. Maybe a new Pikmin, F-Zero, Star Fox, or Kid Icarus. :)

Little King's Story isn't at all like Animal Crossing, besides some of the visuals. It's more like Pikmin in my opinion, but with people.
On that note, there are plenty of games for 2009 that I'm interested in. But I want to hear more about Pikmin 3!~
I'd say only a third of those will be quality games.AlexSaysI totally disagree. I mean come on, you think 17 of those titles are going to be bust? I mean put it like this. In 2008 the Wii had about 50 games that had review averages of 70 or better. I would assume that 2009 will be at least as strong. Now I don't know what those 50+ games will be, but I'd be willing to bet that the titles I listed above will be a big portion or those games. If i had to guess, I'd saying more like 8 or so of those titles will be big disappointments, definitely no where near 16 or 17.
The games I'm most looking forward to are:
The Conduit,
Monster Hunter 3,
Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga,
Star Wars Battlefront 3,
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2,
Overlord: Dark Legend,
Dynamic Slash,
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles The Crystal Bearers
I'm sure there are others.
