My WIFE is crazy!

Im in the house....pulling up some carpet...Been working on the house for the last month of so, getting it ready to sell...AND what a surprise she has for me.....She came in with a big gift bag....She said its an early FathersDay gift...So I opened it up...and....and ...and.....She got me the Wii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its the first time we have seen one in our WalMart since they launched....They come in and they are gone in just a few minutes.......Im so happy and I have such a great wife!.....

Now to keep it away from our 2 boys!!!...LOL.....Just thought I would try and let you feel some of my happieness and excitement!........Later guys...

when i asked when iwill get it back she said when we get married...LOL

Anyway i am glad you have the system i got mine since a couple of months and i think it is a wanderful second next gen system.

Well it's not a hard drive, but for explanation purposes, yes, what he said. You probably won't need a memory card, but if you did, it uses standard SD cards.

Welcome to the next leap in gaming. My Wife and I bought our Wii on Nov 19th 2006. She plays it constantly mainly old nes and Snes games though. I rarely get to play alone any more, but it is nice to have her play and enjoy video games.

To true, to true. Nintendo breaks down barriers like no other. It feels really good inside when there is even more we can share and have in common with our Wives. Plus as a bonus they don't threaten to throw out our Old games and controllers. Thankyou Nintendo.

Yes, but the wii comes with 512 MB of internal memory. I've had my wii since launch, and I have tons of room. It's a lot of space. I wouldn't really bother buying a card, personally.

Well I have been playing bowling and its not saving my scores..."or so I dont think it is?"...This isnt the first time I have played the Wii. My friend has one and brought it over one day for a while...I have to say BOWLING is the funnest game I have ever played..I swear guys...Im a "SHOOTER" through and through...But when I played his Wii I knew I had to have one JUST for BOWLING....I love the other Wii games as well.....

MAN..I hope NINTENDO gets back on top like the good ol days!!!!.....All they have to do is make Wii Sports and im hooked..haha

not sure what it is about bowling but it seems to be the best game for appealing to everyone(it got my parents, my brother and my sis in law into the wii... my mom is the best at it though)

the training mode where youre knocking down a ton of pins is also especially fun, as is the other bowling training game (spin control)

me and my gf have moved on from bowling and tennis.. they're a little too slow now so we just stick with boxing, or trying to outdo eachother's training medals 

Wondering if they have any other bowling games/ Wii sports out now, or coming out? I bought a box pack of Wii games that came with a controller. Are there any others out there?

Also, how real do you feel the bowling game is? The physics? I think its pretty dang close. As a matter of fact we all play the game like you really play bowling...We run up and throw the ball just like real..LOL...fun down here on the tile floor...hehehe...

LOL...yea she is pretty cool with my hobbies. OR should I say.."way of life"..lol....We will be married 15 years in June and she always has stood behind me on my gaming...She games "mostly on her pc", but we all game here...My 2 boys have been gaming since they were born. They didnt have much other options..LOL....Take it easy peeps!!!!

Dont settle for less guys...Marriage doesnt mean you have to give up things that you OR your lady likes. "within reason"...Its a give and take thing. I have been gaming since 1980 at the age of 9. I would never give up something I have loved and done for so many years...ESPECIALLY....If its something that doesnt hurt anyone....

I have gaming parties on the weekends sometimes that last the whole weekend...Staying up all night with friends or maybe even going over to their house and gaming and hanging out...

Just because you get older and married and have kids and responsabilities dont mean you are suddenly dead.....Have fun guys and gals and keep gaming!!!!
