My wifi cant work suddenly.. Help

I have been unable to get on wifi just a fews days ago.. is it because i port forwarded my router or what?
They say they cant even find a compatible access point.
It has been working until recently
Anyone can help

Are you in the range of the acces point, if the DHCP not works, then you have to config it manually. But is your acces point wireless.. just a stupid question :P.

Did you put on the right WEP key, tell some more details plz.

I don't exactly know your setup but I think this may help.  My wifi crashes a lot on me because we have a lot of laptops in our house connected to it not to mention my ds and wii.  So what I do is unplug the wireless router and then unplug the etherenet that is connected to the wireless router.  After that unplug the cable modem.  Wait about thirty to sixty seconds and then plug the cable modem back in.  Wait until the lights are steadily showing that it is working, it usually can take about ten to fifteen seconds.  Then plug the ethernet in and the wireless router.  Try out your wifi and it should be working.
