I have a LINKSYS Wireless-G Broadband Router. Model WRT54G. I have been having problems with my wii connecting to the internet. Sometimes is works flawlessy and other times its super slow and other times it cant connect. My room is directly above the room with the router. Is there anything that can interfere with the connection? Is there anything i can do to make the signal stronger? gimme advice please!

Since you have a WRT54G you could change your firmware over to DD-WRT (www.dd-wrt.com) which is an open source Linux based firmware. You then could up the broadcast power of your router to give you better range and reliability. But I would only suggest doing this if you know something about wireless networking, or atleast willing to learn more about it. They have some pretty good guides on their wiki to help you out along the way.

Are you talking about general connectivity, or the internet channel. If you are talking about general connectivity, then we can troubleshoot that. If you are talking about the internet channel, the answer is that it sux0rs like a 14 baud modem, and may be the worst beta program ever released.

log into your router. you can do this by typing it's ip address into your address bar in your browser. the ip address can be found in your instructions or on it's manufacturers website. you will have to type in a password to get in. once in go to wireless settings and it's there.
