1) Originality and Creativity in games

2) Always suprises me (some good, some not so good - E3 2008 wii music demonstration:shock:)

3) Mario. nuff said!

4) Awesome 1st party library - best there is, period.

5) Saved video gaming back in the 80's, will probarly save it again from the current "HD Sandbox FPS Generic" Era we are currently in.

1. Quality hardware - I've got an SNES and 2 controllers for it that were bought for me on launch day, and they still work perfectly.

2. First party games - The top franchises in the world belong to Nintendo.

3. Originality - While Sony and Microsoft constantly fight fire with fire, Nintendo remains successful by doing their own thing.

4. Amazing handheld gaming - Game Boy, Nintendo DS. 'nuff said.

4. I can do more than just play Gamecube games on the Wii (VC is pretty great though expensive :/)

5. I grew up with mostly Nintendo. I've had the SNES, N64, GB, GBC, GBA, GBASP, DS, GC, Wii.

1. Originality. e.g wiimote, gameboy/ds

2. History. So many great consoles and charactors.

3. Inovative. Wii fit, Wii music, Wii sports, Miis. Maybe not everyones cup of tea, but its pretty creative.

4. Simplicity. Simple design, simple yet fun games. Could be labeled boring though, it has good and bad.

5. They don't follow suit. They create their own market. It might not always work, but at least it stays creative and independant.

1. The way they attempt to push gaming to new frontiers. Sometimes it doesn't work out well, but it pays off handsomely when it does.

2. A reverence for their past and the fans of said past, like the kind of thing WiiWare and Virtual Console encourage.

3. Memorable characters and worlds, especially considering that Metroid is the closest thing they have to a major "adult" franchise.

4. Business savviness; their longevity is because they are smart enough to know how to stay competitive.

5. Their endless self-referential in-jokes (okay, this is more love / hate, but more skewed towards love).
