Out of those, New Super Mario Bros. though I thoroughly enjoyed Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time and am looking forward to getting the new one!
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass!!! I loved it so much.
Next would be Mario, then Metriod Prime: Hunters.
Sadly I just couldn't get into Phantom Hourglass, New Super Mario Bros. on the other hand is one of my favorite Mario games ever and I wasn't a fan of Mp:Hunters, they should've made a 2D metroid game.
zelda!!! great replayability and perfect difficulty. it is the best combination of an rpg and a puzzle game as there are lots of things that make you think in this game
Zelda had great controls and great bosses. It was just too easy compared to previous games in the series. The same applies to New Super Mario Bros too. However, they're still great fun. I voted for New Super Mario Bros because I love 2D platformers.
I was pretty disapointed with Metroid Prime Hunters to be honest. I can't bring myself to finish the reptitive single player campaign and the multiplayer just doesn't do it for me either.
Zelda for sure. NSMB was disappointing. I've played a lot of SMB 1-3 and Super Mario World and NSMB just didn't bring anything new that captured my interest. It felt like more of the same with a couple new power ups.
I hate 2D Zelda (tell me what you want about the graphics, the gameplay is based on 2D Zelda), and Metroid Prime Hunters wasn't that great...
New Super Mario Bros for me.
Out of those, Zelda.
TBH though, all of Nintendo's entries on the DS have been rather mediocre compared to the other entires in the series. MP:H is the worst Metroid game out there. NSMB was alright, but the lack of a free save function really hurt the game (it's a handheld game Nintendo) and overall nothing about it felt new. Another 3D mario would have been much better. Zelda:PH was also alright, but is the weakest game in the series after Zelda II.
Really, my major complaint is that all of Nintendo's franchise entries on the DS have either been 2D games, 3D ports (Mario 64), or shallow 3D games (MP:H, Starfox). At the very least they could port over some more of the N64's titles like OoT. I dare say that the NDS has the most woefully under-utilized hardware in gaming history.
yeah i agree metroid prime hunters single player was non metroid related.there were no metroids. no nonweaponry related power ups ecxept for the energy tanks.that was a shame but online and multiplayer modes are fun as hell.for those of you who said the controls were bad maybe you didn't notice the options to switch the controls.Out of those, Zelda.

zelda and then mario
metroids single player was horrid and wifi was quickly destroyed by all the hackers which made both modes unplayable
I believe that was the point. If you could imagine a direct sequel to Super Mario Bros. created present-day, that would be what you got. The main Mario series is where you should look for things that are "new."Zelda for sure. NSMB was disappointing. I've played a lot of SMB 1-3 and Super Mario World and NSMB just didn't bring anything new that captured my interest. It felt like more of the same with a couple new power ups.

Wow what a close poll. Poor Metriod. =/
Anyways I went with Phantom Hourglass, only DS game I played through 3 times, and enjoyed every minute of it.
