Need for Speed Carbon DS what to do?

People, we just got Need for Speed Carbon 'Own the city'

Now my 5 year old is spitting chips and so am I, whats the story with how to play?

The car takes off, but then it just runs out of steam after about 5-10seconds, and it just stops in the middle of the road and doesn't go any further. Is this normal? How do you get away from it doing this?

haha, I had the same problem the first time. if you're used to using A to drive, and R for nitrous, change the control style in the options menu
