Sup Guys!

I purchased a black NDSLite some time in mid-april and I kept it in its original packaging until the Hori screen protectors from Play-Asia arrived.

The day I received my protectors, I applied them directly into the newly opened DSLite, making the screens as brand new as possible. I then tried a copy of Jump! Ultimate Stars on my new console, only to find out the R shoulder button does not have the "clicky" feel the L shoulder button does.

If I push hard enough on the R shoulder button, it seems to recieve the command input, but that's after having pushed pretty hard. :?

I want to return it and get an exchange, however it seems they will send me a different unit. I'm not sure whether the "new" unit is refurbished. If so, it destroys the whole purpose of me having purchased the Hori screen protectors (I'm concerned about taking them off now, they are so well placed it's a real shame to have to take them off again

That's the thing though : will I actually get a "new" one?  Or will I just end up with a refurbished product (seeing as mine is brand new, barely a month old even).  Refurbished products can be like MONTHS old...  If I end up with one in a condition that looks physically older than my current one, I'd rather just keep mine and wait until my 1 year warranty has worn off, so then I could switch with one in a better condition.

If you were lucky enough to buy it at wal mart and kept the receipt you can just stroll to the store and exchange it for another new one. They have a great return policy good for up to three months.

You will get a new one!!

Nintendo has extremely good Customer Service. If you take it to the shop, they'll just take in your old ds and take a brand new one from the shelf and hand it to you.

As long as there are no scratches on the screen, which there wouldn't be, does it matter if it's new or not? You're being parnoid about this whole situation.
