Call like 20 stores to see when they're going to get one and go early that day.

I really don't have that option, I live overseas right now and will move back to the states in about a year and a half. I'd use amazon but they're always sold out immediately after they list them.

Rick,

I just got done looking for a Wii myself and was able to score through NowInStock.net. It took me just under a week and I had an alert, yes this site is cool because they will email you as soon as they get notification, from Amazon.

I emailed Justin who runs the site and he said that Wii's are in stock once a week lately from Amazon and sometimes twice a week. Amazon is important because they are still one of the few still selling the Wii non-bundled.

Go here

http://www.nowinstock.net/wii/index.php

and just signup for email alerts for the unit you want. You have to still be fairly quick though. The stock at Amazon lasts between 30 and 60 minutes. It lasted for an hour whenever I got mine, but just yesterday I noticed they last only about 40 minutes.

yea what you should do is check on nintendo.com and search for the stores that get sent wii's and then just use google to find the phone # of stores without leaving ur house and call them. if that doesnt work there should be a shipment soon with all the new games coming out in october and november (ssmb). ^-*

Hold a store hostage and say if they don't supply you with nintendo Wiis and FAST there'll be some problems. That's how I got mine. :P
