Hey guys. A fellow gamer needs help ... I must make a work for a college course and needed to know how often do you guys bought DS games and how many. I cannot create a poll but please answer by replying to this thread. Th question would be: how often do you buy games and how many?... and the posibilities are:

1-3 months

3-6 months

6-9 months

9 month to a year

Remember to say how many please... any help would be welcomed

I buy around 2 DS games every six months. I'm a college student and can't go around splurging my money. In fact my library is actually rather small: Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time Super Mario 64 DS Animal Crossing (Nintendo sent me a copy for free before it was even released due to the Sage program) Brain Age (sent to me for free as well) Mario Kart DS Advance Wars (best DS game of all t ime) Nightmare Troubador Spirit Caller Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow Sonic Rush

I got a DS yesterday, and I bought 2 games with it. I'm probably going to buy another one this month. So...so far 3 games a month for me. They're cheap compared to buying PS3 games.

They're cheap compared to buying PS3 games.

That was so irrelevant it's not even funny. It's also cheap compared to Wii and 360 games as well.

I buy like...well, i'll be honest. I use to buy like 2 ds games a month, plus games for other systems. But since i've put a cap on my spending, i'm down to like 1 game a month now for any system. So, I guess now would be 1 ds game every 2 months.

It's not totally irrelevant. I'm just comparing prices to other systems' games. Just trying to make it sound reasonable buying 2-3 DS. I wasn't picking on the PS3 in particular. It's just the only current-gen console I got so I used that as an example. It's also kind of odd that some DS games cost as much as PS2 games now a days. Maybe DS games could be cheaper? Hmm

I buy 1 ds game every 1,5-2 month... I'm concentraing on the xbox360 right now so I haven't bought any ds games since New Super Mario...

Around 3 a month, although most of the time only one of them is a new game, i just usually buy them used at ebay.

It's impossible to say how many because some must-have games don't release on a monthly basis or the bargain bins are mostly by chance than a fixed schedule inventory cleansing.

So I say the best answer is whenever they come out.

1-3 months, but really it depends on when something good comes out. Sadly the DS doesn't have many frequent must have games, but it is still a budding system.

I bought 2 DS lites last month and 3 games, and this month I have bought two games. So far have I have spent over $450 on DS's and games. But I plan on buying at least one game per month depending on when titles come out and if I want the games.

I don't buy so many games in a time limit i buy games when there worth buying.

I have 4 ds games so far,nsmb,castlevania:por,mario kart and metroid prime.

I plan to buy EBA next followed by pokemon pearl a final fantasy game and zelda:PA (if its' released this year)

I just purchased my DS Lite recently. In the first 2 months of ownership, I bought 15 games. However, looking ahead at the releases that have been announced this year, I expect to buy 1 - 2 games a month.
