I just got the vortex power from the mines, but I am hopelessly stuck on how to get out. I've gotten to the part where that "whistle ball" is locked behind two doors and I need to get it out to break the big crystals blocking the exit. However, I'm only given one boulder to break the two doors and the boulder breaks after one door, so I'm stuck. Please help, i only have one save point and don't want to restart the whole game because there is no other way out that I can see from where I've saved unless I solve this puzzle. I can't find a walkthrough online.

HINT: Enemies, fruit and even the whistle balls can also be used to break things. (the last one will survive if you use it this way)

Also, items in the area you're in automatically reset when you leave that area. So there's no need to restart the game from the beginning.

Put the "blob" or fruit into a vortex, then gust in the proper direction as quickly as you can.

Oh, and are you sure the gateway is breakable? If it's a solid door (as opposed to some planks), then you'll need to trip a switch somewhere.
