Well I had it on my 360, but the thing about it is first off the quality of the video fluxuates alot. Secondly I guess it would work the way it does on the 360 with getting movies from the watch instantly list. However the selection is pretty weak as it is populated mostly with TV shows and pretty old movies. Also I don't understand what you would need the disc for since the movies are streamed.

I really hope they do decide to. It would be a major step forward for the system.

Very interesting. That would make a good channel, the "Movie Channel".

It won't be the best, but it's still an interesting idea.

Well of course it won't be the best, that's the shop channel of course. None the less, it would be a very nice feature and would be a smart move for both Netflix and Nintendo, because members of each would have another reason to get the other. I bet that Nintendo would have the channel work like a big movie theater, where you control your Mii and walk around watching whatever movie you want and playing little arcade games.

i really dont care. I got a Wii to play games. not watch movies or surf the web. I have a dvd player and a pc to do this stuff with. And it is easier with my pc. I dont know why everyone is always so excited when their console can surf the web or chat with other people, stream movies, or check out game trailers. all these features suck compared to a PC.

Because the ability to stream movies in a main room where a whole family can sit comfortably is so useless! :D

come one, this is much better when you have to drag you laptop into the room and hookup those extra cables hanging about.

it isnt hard to hook your pc to your tv. also, how much does a gaming console need to do??? play games, and thats it. If you want a PC then get a PC, dont get a Wii or 360 and expect to it do what a PC does. Aside from that, there isnt good movies to stream off netflix, old ones we have either seen a lot or never heard of.

I use the feature with my 360 sometimes, and think it's great. It took about 45 seconds to set up and I was ready to go. It allows me to sit on a comfortable couch and watch movies on a 47 inch television with my friends and family rather than gathering around a 19 inch computer monitor. Also, my PC is about 75 ft from my main television. It's a lot easier to stream movies to a game system that's ALREADY HOOKED TO THE TELEVISION, rather than running a long cable from my PC to my television. Also, it makes pausing, FF, Rewinding a hell of lot easier.

And you know the best thing about it? It's completely OPTIONAL! People don't have to use it if they don't want to. Unfortunately, that's not enough for some people. They think if they don't want a feature, then no one should have it - even if it doesn't adversely affect them.

Are we going to get an HD stream? (I know, I know, probably not, because the Wii can't DO HD, but hey, I can dream right?)
