Oh, great, another game for the DS which I won't be able to put down. I simply love Castlevania too much. The first two for the DS rocked my world. Why does the DS have to be so good?
I need a job. Thanks a lot, Nintendo.
I actually liked the anime style better though. X-Remnant
I don't get why people hate the anime style either. :?
Lame. Why are they wasting there time on the DS? (Besides the fact that they'll make loads more money.)jukeyjuke
Hardly. The series has been the most successful on the GBA. This might be the best game since those.

I suppose. I was just saying that because the whole Dual Screen thing is wasted with Castlevania, which is mainly one screen. Now if they could incorperate some awesome way to play with two screens, then I'll go for it.
Instant purchase, period.

The anime style wasn't bad... but it also wasn't good, it just wasn't a good reflection of Castlevanias atmosphere, dark. The gothic influenced art gets that job done well. If the anime style had less bright and "happy" look (that bad saturday morning cartoon/anime look) and more of a serious, darkened style, then it couldve worked.
I'm ecstatic that they went back to the gothic style. The anime style looked like a bad saturday morning cartoon- not exactly appropriate for vampire-hunting.Bio_Spark
i`m so excited about this game that i can not even start mentioning all the stuff I like... :P

They tried it with DoS, and it wasn't the best.
I'm glad the anime style is gone, and that's coming from an anime fan. The gothic art is so much more fitting, and it's beautiful.

Shows like Hellsing and Trinity Blood did nail it, though.

Castlevania's done very well on the DS so far — DoS was an AAAE, only one in the Castlevania series — but besides that, what else would they put it on? The DS is a 2D powerhouse at this point. No other system could get away with so many 2D platformers that sell well, as we saw with the PSP entry (sold 170k less than DoS :?), and supposedly the team is going to add some new options this time around — with any luck, there will be some solid touch screen utilization.
However this game gets reviewed, I'm buying it :D
Going to have some kind of Wii connectivity.

Boo, with 1m o's. They are so rubbish mainly because they are so hard but they are so hard. I bought the SNES remake version
on the GBA and it is rubbish. The graphics are rubbish, understandably because it is the same as the SNES version, but like i said these are one of the worst series in Nintendo history. It even rivals Imagine Babies for the worst DS game ever.
