New cheating bug in Mario Kart DS

I don't know if this has been posted before, but I've had a lot of races over mario kart online and I've just seen this cheat used tonight. It was just me and this other person and as soon as the race would start it would be over in a second and he would win. The first time I was thinking wtf? So I thought, okay a freak bug. But then it happened a second time, so I left the game. Is this new?

I know it's not a glitch, that why I called it a bug, and more specifically a "cheating bug", but it might not be a bug at all if you can use something like action-replay during mario kart online.

It can't be a glitch. Knowing that Nintendo doesn't really do anything about Cheaters, it's probably Action Replay.

lol, I played a cheater who got a bullet bill every 20 seconds regardless of position or collecting item boxes.

I dont know about u but I just dont see the point in cheating, if you are just playing so that ur win record looks uber then it kills the fun and u might as well not play the game and just make yourself happy by finding a cheat which give you an infinite win record or something

i dont understand why anyone would consider playing if after a few seconds they know they would win.

where's the fun in that? waste of time in my opinion.

wi-fi cheaters are desperate people who cant rely on their own skill. in short, noobs. like those cheaters we pwn in gunbound. darn aimbotsinzaneetie013

I hate to say it, but it can be funny sometimes, course for the most part it is really bothersome.

why? wifi is meant for playing with others in competition, not using cheats to end it after 2 seconds. i mean you cant even brag about the wins if it's done cheating. screw all cheaters. :evil:

It can if you go into a person's town and trade hacked items and such, which can crash your town making you start over.

I don't get it either. Like, I play pokemon all the time, and a lot of people use "legit hacks", which means they used hacked pokemon with legal stats and moves and such. But it still seems really stupid to me. I mean, there are pokemon battle simulation programs on the internet for free. And how proud can you be if you beat someone with something you made in four minutes instead of something you raised yourself? Even if you beat a legit player, you hacked, so it doesn't even really count for anything. And if you lose, it's just sad. I 6-0 a "legit hacker" I know all the time...

Why did you bring this topic back up?

Cheaters like that are the exact reason why I don't play on wi-fi anymore.

It's a shame that these people feel the necessity to cheat and ruin a perfectly enjoyable game. I play to have fun, and unfortunately DS wifi isn't any fun considering 90% of the time I seem to get a hacker or d/connector.

The last time I played wifi on Mario Kart DS, I played 10 matches in a row. And for the first 9 matches, all 3 people I played disconnected before the 4th race every single time! Then on the tenth match I got a hacker and lost. That's when I vowed to never, ever play DS wifi again. I'll come back to playing DS online when they find a way to punish cheaters AND d/connectors. Until then, I'll contine to play pc games online in my limited free time.
