i might get it the d pad looks better.

I rather like the nunchuk. No normal human being would be able to play games with NES-type control scheme (New Super Mario, Super Paper Mario and whatnot) with that wiimote, but if it works well with their game, then that's cool, I guess.
I like it. If it's made by Nintendo I'll probably buy it instead of the black WiiMote. But what about a wii motion plus and jacket to fit it?
why not? i was just thing that the biger d pad would be good for metroid other m, and the 1 and 2 botttons would be in the same lay out as a X and O on ps3 controller.I rather like the nunchuk. Bigger might be better, but that doesn't mean that the design is better. Nintendo has the best D pad in the industry. Whether it is the Wiimote, the cl4ssic controller or the DS (ok, the original DS D pad had a few minor issues, but everything from the Lite to the DSi and XL is perfect) is simply impossible to even match.

No. Let me help you, because you are obviously missing the point. This is what that wiimote would look like if you wanted to play, say, New Super Mario Bros. Wii:
In New Super Mario Bros. Wii, you press 1 to run/shoot/use power ups, and you press 2 to make Mario jump. Since 1 is the "run" button, everyone keeps 1 pressed while running and then press 2 to jump. Now, imagine yourself trying to press 1, keeping it pressed, and then pressing 2 to jump. This is what your thumb would look like (excuse my poor MS Paint skills):
No human being (or primate, for that matter) would feel comfortable that way. If, say, the 1 button was up, and the 2 button was down AND to the RIGHT, then you'd have the PS/SNES design, which is perfectly fine, but that's not the case. This is more or less what you think you're seeing:
As I said, that would be perfectly fine, because it does work sort of like the PS/SNES button scheme. But, as you can see if you compare this third image to the first one, that's just not how they designed.
Granted, they still have plenty of time to change it, but they may or may not do it.
Just my opinion *sets up flame shield*
But I think that looks very fugly.
Agreed. The 1 and 2 buttons are in the same placement as that aftermarket MadKatz WiiMote. I don't like it. The Dpad is nice, the A button and the placement of the Home row buttons are nice but everything else looks like pure soot. I'll pass on this. The 1 and 2 buttons don't bother me, since it's for a first person shooter--which usually don't utilize those buttons for quick actions.
The button layout actually looks like it would allow your thumb to move in a more natural motion than in the typical Wiimote anyway. The 1 and 2 buttons don't bother me, since it's for a first person shooter--which usually don't utilize those buttons for quick actions.

I hope this new headset as well as Conduit 2's Headbanger are both compatible for any Wii game with voice chat.
FPS are starting to shape up nicely this year for the Wii.
It looks very cheaply made and the button layout is hideous. The stick on the nunchuk looks like it would break by glancing at it. Is this thing made by Mad Catz? Nintendo would never put out anything that cheap and flimsy looking.

The + and - buttons being closer together will help in CoD with grenades and reloading. It will make the buttons easier to reach.

i just noticed(and had some fun about honestly) non cod players opinions about the control. Saying how uncomfortable is to play SMB wii on it. This control is designed for us who have been playing and struggling a bit with the + and - buttons for COD for around 3 years(and the pad wasnt all that great neither). This is not just a skin of COD on a wiimote, is a control that actually makes more comfortable for us to play COD MW or Black Ops(or waw).Too much for a single game you say? well ima play C2 and GE with this baby for sure. Yes im getting.I think it looks kinda sleek AND more functional than the regular wiimote.

If It Does Come With The Headset Then Im 100% Getting It. Plus Id Rather Have Black Ops Than Conduit 2....
I know this is off topic but it concerns Call Of Duty Black Ops for Wii, does anybody know if this game will have Classic Controller Pro support?. I know Goldeneye will and I hope since Treyarch are developing this and Goldeneye as well that it does. I'm not a fan of playing FPS on Wii with the nunchuck/wiimote setup.
Really? I find it the best way to play an FPS besides mouse+keyboard. It is much more accurate than using 2 anolog sticks.I know this is off topic but it concerns Call Of Duty Black Ops for Wii, does anybody know if this game will have Classic Controller Pro support?. Treyarch is not developing Goldeneye Wii and they do not see the point of doing dual analog on the Wii. Seriously, if you like FPSs on dual analog, there are much better systems for you.

It's not that I like FPS on dual analog sticks, I just prefer it to the wii mote set up, and if it's not supported I just won't buy it. No bother to me.

If you prefer analog controls, then why not get FPS on an HD console (assuming you have a 360 or PS3)? Or maybe you mean that you prefer the classic controller pro more than 360/PS3 controller?
oh wow it actually happens. When i hear this i always want to see how they are holding the wiimotes or their setup. Its just mindboogling to me.It's not that I like FPS on dual analog sticks, I just prefer it to the wii mote set up, and if it's not supported I just won't buy it. No bother to me.

Serously. Very rarely do I find someone who, after using the Wii+nuchuk, ever still prefers dual analog. when they are, they either messed up the control options or they are holding it funny.
I like the nunchuck, the wii remotes cool looking but the buttons look kinda awkward. Ill probably buy the nunchuck on its own if they release them seperate, if its jsut in abundle then irdk if its worth it for me.

It's so funny how I just ask a simple question and you always get some one who has to nerd out on the question. You know some people just prefer things that you may not, weird world huh?
