looks better than the 1st but still not that good imo.

yea you may right about that lol, i think it will be good but i bet cod:black ops and gloden eye will be much more fun.Yeah I agree. Looks better than the first, but still not that good. This might be a symbol for the whole game.. Conduit 2 will be better than The Conduit, but it still won't be that good :P

That's strange, I'm having flashbacks.
Oh, right.
GabuEx
So wait The Conduit is supposed to be The Halo of the Wii?
Anyway the Boxart looks awesome. I wonder what the Special Edition is going to look like.
EDIT: I couldn't have been more wrong.

Im i the only person that notice the ppl in the back of art
LegatoSkyheart
No I noticed them.
OhThat's strange, I'm having flashbacks. Oh, right.GabuExI was thinking more along the lines of Gears 2. Same colors, same giant gun..... Except the Gears cover art actually has some personality. This one has a faceless dude with body structure that doesn't match the rest of the game and a plain white background. It's almost as bad as the Halo 2 box art... except at least that one has a widely recognizable character on the front.

Its not bad (better than the previous one)but i think it lacks a bit of personality.it also has the average 360 ish shooter style to it, which is not entirely bad(it pretty much screams Wii halo which might appeal some). That in itself is not so bad neither since theres no wii game with that type of cover really. It would be more redundant as a HD title. Mr ford looks kinda baddass, so he shouldnt be wearing a helmet if hes in the front cover, with the Trust soldiers behind him. Im pretty sure that could be a playable(wearable armor), given that the other armors displayed have been sighted on gameplay.Plain white background is used in many ways as an artistic approach, its used to focus on the foreground, and its entirely valid. So on that we cant complain, its a matter of taste. You also gotta remember that Master chief also sported the first cover before he became truly widely recognizable. The thing is that we are used to Mr Ford sporting glasses rather than helmets.

The first Halo box art wasn't that good either, but at least it had some of the unique elements of the game represented, such as the flying vehicles and the actual Halo in the background.
After thinking about it a bit, the Conduit 2 box art probably describes the game accurately. There isn't anything in it that sets it apart from other games and it will probably have no personality anyway.
It just blows my mind that this kind of box art would be the final choice. They could at least put elements of the story in it, since it's rife with conspiracy and aliens and such. As it is, the cover says NOTHING about the game whatsoever, except that you will be shooting. But that guy doesn't even look like Ford.... He was never that exaggerated in the first game.
The cover of the first game looks brilliant compared to this.
Doesn't matter. It will be compared to Halo regardless.
Sci-Fi shooters will always live in Halo's shadow--regardless of which console. That kinda sucks since I don't like Halo.
This box art > halo 2. The dude has a bigger gun and looks more badass. I hope the USA gets a different version of the boxart though.

Good to know you've played since you know so much about the actual game and stuff. Your judging a game by it's boxart. Honestly that's the dumbest thing. I could care less about box art.[QUOTE="JordanElek"]The first Halo box art wasn't that good either, but at least it had some of the unique elements of the game represented, such as the flying vehicles and the actual Halo in the background.Good to know you've played since you know so much about the actual game and stuff. Nah, I'm judging the boxart by the boxart. I'm just being snarky about the game itself. But I'll probably be right about that in the end. :)
Well I think it's an improvement over the megaman box art of the first game even if it looks like a gears/halo box now.Minishdriveby
LOL, what kind of consolation statement is that supposed to be? The fact that you've even compared it to the boxart of the original Mega Man should be a bad omen in itself. :P
