New Donkey Kong Country on Wii

Who thinks they should make a new Donkey Kong country for the Wii. I loved playing it on the nes and hope to see it on the Wii. They are finally making another Super Mario Bros game on the Wii, which I'm so pumped about. Now I hope we see a new side-scrolling Donkey Kong Country game with nice graphicson the Wii. Who agrees?

I do. NPC Jungle Beat is good (as was GC Jungle Beat), but it's time for a traditional, new DK platformer.

I hope Nintendo makes a new Donkey Kong Country. For me, it doesn't matter if it's 3D or 2D, I loved both Donkey Kong 64 and the Donkey Kong Countries on the snes.

Me. But I wish it was like the n64 one, that one was friggin' awesome.

That title made me very happy for a few seconds until I noticed it was probably a thread talking about the possibility of one. :x

Anyway, I am not sure how big are the chances of a game like that being produced but I do hope Nintendo produces another DK platformer. No more bongo games please!

Now that I think about it, I don't think it's going to happen because Rare (developer of Donkey Kong Country) is with Microsoft now. Jelley0

I love Jungle Beat and have spent numerous hours on it. I do hope a new DK game comes to the Wii. (Hopefully F-Zero and Star Fox come with it?)

I would love it but i doubt they'd make another one.

I would love to see a new DKC on Wii-- 2.5-d (an excellent tried-and-true formula for DKC games) or 3-d (if done right). The DKC games on the SNES had alot of challenge in parts and great characters.

Since Shigeru Miyamoto didn't like the DKC series, I doubt he'll give a green light on any new DKC game.

I do... Donkey Kong Country is my favourite 2D platformer. It'd be awesome if they did a Wiiware game. Doubt it'll happen though. Nintendo will just say "Jungle beat is good enough" or something.

This pretty sums up my feelings perfectly. I would love a new DK game. A real one.

I loved the first one, but it was made by Rare which Microsoft now owns so even if a new one did come out it's not like it would match the greatness of the first one.
