New Favorite Wii Game: Muramasa: The Demon Blade

I didn't have a Wii when this first released, but I'd been following it since announce, and had been wanting to play it.

I finally got a new Wii for the games coming up, and that was before E3 announcements.

I picked up a copy of Muramasa, and played for 12 hours straight. This game is beautiful, and does pretty much everything right. It's definately not too easy, the art style is to die for, the swords are noteably different when it comes to the way you use them. Man...It's just so good.

Plus, with 2 complete stories...There's a ton of content too. I'm getting a new TV soon, and as soon as I do I want to see this game on it first.

I hated it at first, I stopped playing, but half a year later I decided to get back. I'm glad I did xD I absolutely loved it.

The combat system is so shallow... but it just never gets old. o.O

I picked up Galaxy 2 a few days ago so that's on my plate. I still need to try out NMH2, Monster Hunter Tri, Tatsunoko VS Capcom and Sin & Punishment for the Wii. On the 360 end I need to try out Bayonetta, Mass Effect 2,Deathsmiles and import Espgaluda II. And on the PC I need to try out Dragon Age Origins, and I have Prey unopened. There's a ton of games to play. :P

Yeah still got it brand new sitting in my room. Gonna play it as soon as get finished with some other games.

Taking the 'bargain hunting' approach, I'm guessing? Well, I think I'm kind of the same way when it comes to the game myself. I'd like to try it out, but it's one of those 'on the fence' games unless I see it for a VERY appealing price, have a lot of money and nothing to play, or both.

I still have a $20 video game credit from Amazon, so if the game was a bit cheaper, this might be what I would use it for. Sadly, even with the credit, I can't afford Muramasa at the moment, and for the same price, there are several other Wii games that jump out at me more.

I paid the full preordered $50 for Muramasa, and never once did I feel like I didn't get my moneys worth. I absolutely enjoyed that game, both stories, from start to finish. great game that I hope gets some kind of sequel eventually.jnjreams76
