Customization Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3oHZpV9zW24

I love the voiceover in this new video, this game looks better everytime I see it.

For those that don't already know about Heroes of Ruin:

- Action role-playing game with an emphasis on real time combat, viewed from a third person isometric view point
- Combines elements from action adventure and action RPG games
- The combat experience will also be different if the player decides to play alone or with other heroes
- Dynamic Drop-in/Drop-out local/online co-op that supports 4 players
- Supports online Voice Chat for friends and random players (if your parental settings allow it)
- There are 4 character ciasses: Gunslinger, Vindicator, Alchitect and Savage
- Characters and their weapons can be customized in order to make them more individual
- There will be multiple save slots, at least four so you can play as all four cIasses

- 227 enemy types
- Over 80,000 randomly generated items
- Over 20,000 weapons per cIass
- Dynamically generated content and levels
- Daily SpotPass DLC for at least the first year free
- Traders Network: when you meet another person (online or local), your loot populates that player's trader's network
- D-pad and touch screen for using various items like potions, face buttons for special moves
- Left and right on the D-pad are used for mana and health
- Up and down on the D-pad will allow for you to sell or equip gear while on the battlefield
- Gold is devided equaly between eveyone in the party, but the person who picks up the gold gets a small bonus
- No Clans in the game, however there is a freindship leveling up system
- The game tracks which friends you play with, and you earn special benefits and perks for playing with the same group a lot
- The more you play with someone the more friendship XP you gain, you also will go up friendship ranks with bonuses for higher levels
(this is separate from normal levels and ranks)

- 24 environment types/graphic sets
- Theoretically an infinite number of randomly-generated maps
- Players can jump into a game in progress any time, either locally or online
- Automatic level scaling on damage and XP so lower level players can play with high level friends
- Any player can pause their game at any time in multi, monsters will simply ignore that player and the difficulty scales briefly
- Puzzle elements, such as a Lights Out styIe game to shut down a force field
- You can see the gear you equip on your character, lots of character customization
- Three skill trees per cIass
- You can save at any time in single or multi without losing any XP or items
- Enemies turn red for brief periods of time, which means they won't take damage and you'll be open to counterattacks
- Several previewers compared the multiplayer feeling to Secret of Mana

Looks awesome. I'm getting a very strong Champions of Noraith (or what ever that PS2 game was called) feel from this video. Can't wait.

Nice and voice chat with other players. This needs to be a trend. The more I hear and see the more I want.

Over time, I've begun to accept the graphics as is. The customization still looks good enough, and while it's not shined and polished on the outside (there's no denying this game's graphics could look better compared to what we've seen on the 3DS already), it better just run smooth and clean on the inside. Minimal lag, connecting with friends, voice chat, gameplay, etc. I really want to get this game. If only I had the money :(

Bleh. I'm kind of done with this type of game. Too empty for me... I'm holding out for Diablo 3 but I'm not even sure about that anymore...
