Now, I did roll my eyes when SE said they were going to announce a "new" Kingdom Hearts title, but boy I would never have guessed that they would actually...

Yeah, Coded was the cell phone game.

I guess they feel like its significant enough for people to play here. In all honesty, I have no real interest in the series anymore. I just wanted a KH3 lol.

I think they're just stretching the series? In the end everyone lived happily ever after and all was well.

But since the series became extremely successful financially in Square-Enix's eyes, they want to... prolong it as long as possible? Even though story-wise it will just be... hmm I don't know what to say exactly.

Kinda what every series does. Metal Gear Solid, Zelda, Mario, Halo, you name it. As long as they're a success, it gets redone, remade, remixed. It isn't exactly a new thing, and SE aren't the only ones to do it.

A lot of those don't mess around with the story, or it remains constant.

Too much random stupid stuff has happened in Kingdom Hearts, that I don't even care anymore. Also the fact that they keep making side game's is rather annoying when most people just want a sequel.

Mario and Zelda don't really rely on story. Like at all.

Never played Halo, but as a shooter I have my assumptions about it. Haven't played MGS yet either, but I don't think the story is the same as KH, or rather took the same... shall we say, direction.

Even thought I know I'll buy the game, I'm disappointed by the amount of spinoffs the series is starting to get.

Maan this sucks so much :(. I was so hyped that sony might, finally, make another console kh....and they release this title nobody's gonna care about, a DS port...:(. How could they teabag us like that. We STILL have to wait until september for BBS too

Sony doesn't have anything to do with Kingdom Hearts. It's Square Enix's game.
