I don't think this means we'll see Sonic in SSBB, if we did no-one would really buy this.

Wow a link thats actually from Nintendos site . . . Who would have thought back in the day that this would ever happen ( i mean mario and sonic once mortal enemies are now in the same game ) But hey more power to the colabo on this one . . . Sonic on Brawl FTW :D

I cant wait for this game.  I love Wii Sports, I love the Olympic Games, I love Mario games, and Sonic is awesome....

Cool! i doubt sonic will be in SSBB because he dosent really fight bad guys with combo moves and kicks and punches. but still this will be a game worth checking out.:D

I just hope the characters have stats and are not just simple avatars.

Sonic should be fast, Mario should jump high, Tails should be able to hover or something.... Otherwise it could turn into a boring cash-in/Mash-up.

Fortunately, I really doubt they would put these guys together for a mediocre game.

I highly doubt it's going to be mediocre. Miyamoto is the supervisor of the game. We all know Miyamoto = quality. It's another game I'll play online with Super Smash Bros Brawl. Imagine, we have in 1 corner the Nintendo/Mario team and the other corner you have the Sega/Sonic team.

Make it online. It will be my second game that I'll play online.

When ign asked them about this they didn't comment, it's looking interesting. Sonic in Brawl seems more likely now.
