I really wish we got the blue model, like that so much better than burgandy ish red color.

Looked at a black display model in person, its more like metalic dark grey to me.. idk. Looks decent though.

I'm going to wait and see if this has any bugs/defects and I'm not a fan of any of the colorations (not even the Majora's Mask edition) so I'm going to be holding off for a while to see more on this.

Waiting for hopefully a blue edition down the line.

I'm so lucky that I landed my Majora's Mask Edition today! My local target only had 5 in stock. I was 2nd person in line for it :D

I went on eBay and got mine. Ain't nobody got time for waiting for game stop to receive a shipment.

I wish Bestbuy would ship out my damn MM 3DS XL. They've been preparing to ship it out for 2 days... HURRY THE **** UP

My red one shipped out Friday afternoon from Best Buy. Don't know why the MM 3DS XL is taking longer. That place is pretty screwed up because just the day before it shipped I got an email saying it would be delayed for a week. smh

I just have a feeling they don't have enough of them and they're stalling trying to figure out what to tell customers. BBY already cancelled my MM LE game, but I was able to get a 50 dollar giftcard from them and they sent me out a free copy of the vanilla game, so that was cool. I no way in hell want my console to be cancelled though. I really want that thing.

Toys R Us is my go-to place for games and accessories that are sold out everywhere. Just walked in and picked up my New Red New 3DS. I figure mostly parents shop at Toys R Us and that's why I can usually find the obscure items haven't been sold-out there.

Side note: I really wanted to say, "let me have the New Black. New Black is the new black." But New Red was calling to me.

At my local best Buy today (2/14) , there were was a table at the front of the video games section that had two little vouchers on it for New Red 3DSXL.. at the gamestops though, yeah they were all sold out haha. So if people are still trying to just pick one up somewhere just don't go to gamestop haha

I bought mine after work (at 1am), got a nice little discount too.

I believe in the UK all stores have them still, but have many older model 3DS's 2nd hand. Guess people traded them in

Even more shocking, folks seem like they can actually tell the difference between a standard 3DS and the new one. Makes you wonder if that really was a valid excuse for why Wii U sold badly so far...

Or is it sold out because Nintendo purposely limited units shipped? I wouldn't put it pass Nintendo to do something as silly as that...

Yup it's been selling great. The Walmart I bought mine from today had about 6 of them in stock though, I'm glad they weren't sold out.

I am loving my MM edition New 3ds. It took a little bit but now the C-Stick feels a lot easier to use.

I just picked up my Red New 3DSXL from my local gamestop today, they just got a new shipment in of a few New 3DSXLs when I walked in the store the dude had them there just laying on the front desk. I'd say the design looks pretty nice, I would have perfumed a blue version like Japan's New 3DSXLL but oh well, the red version looks better in person than it does just looking at videos of it online. The back is very glossy and already has fingerprints all over it after 1hr of use on a brand new system =.= .. noticed the screen doesn't "click" anymore (at least on mine) when you're trying to adjust the position of the top screen, its like a smooth transition instead of those loud annoying clicks. I also Pre-Ordered Xenoblade Chronicles for New 3DS.

Going to be a bitch if I ever have to get another sd card to replace the one that's already in there. I'm not big on downloadable games so I should be set for a while hopefully.

My wife and I camped at Target at midnight until 8AM so we could both get the Majora's Mask edition. They only had 5 and we had about 9 people when the store opened. It was about 8 degrees out all night too, so that was fun! I'm very impressed with the look and feel of the new hardware and the face tracking 3D is pretty amazing. I always played with 3D on anyway, but now it's even better.

They are sold out everywhere. It wasn't easy getting one. My Gamestop has been sold out for awhile. I wanted the MM edition but it's sold out everywhere and has been. I refuse to pay 2xs as much for it so I got the black one. I think Gamestop here is still sold out no units within 100 miles.
