New price. New color. For the gamers who don't own a 3DS: are you getting one?

From today, the Nintendo 3DS will cost $170, with a huge $80 price cut when it was released in March.

Are you getting a 3DS now that the price dropped? If so, in what color? If not, why are you not getting one?

P.S.: For the people who already have a 3DS, are you happy with the color you have chosen? If you would buy a system today, which color would it be?

The purple one probably.

It was shown in 6 colors.

The two they sale now, then the Red, An orange one, Gold one, and a purple one!

Definitely not the Aqua one, I don't like the way it looks, I would pick any of the other 5 colors over that aqua/teal looking one.

Nothing against the color, I just think it looks hideous on the 3ds.

Yes we do plan on getting one, especially after the price cut! We have a GBA, and if we get a 3ds, we can have the ENTIRE Nintendo handheld library!

I'll hold out a while longer. I'm getting my DS Lite repaired as it is the cheapest route to go right now. A 3DS sure is tempting though.

I plan on buying a 2nd one, the red, last month i gave my son the aqua blue that we share :oops:

There isn't enough good games to convince me to by a 3DS. I'm still trying to finish a backlog of DS games on my DS Lite, so I won't need a 3DS anytime soon.

Yes, I'll be getting one now. I plan to get Flame Red because it's the coolest looking one so far. I have 20 bucks saved up already for the 3DS and I will keep saving 20-40 dollars a week for it until I get 170 and enough for a game. :) So like 230 and I'm set. I'm not happy that the 3DS isn't selling like Nintendo wanted, but as soon as I heard about the major price cut, I was ecstatic and decided I will jump on the bandwagon now that I have a job.:)

Eh, I'm waiting for another price drop. That's a really good one, but I'm happy with my PSP and DS right now. :)

If I'm going to get a 3DS I'm going to get a Flame Red one, but personally, I'd prefer if they had purple :P

I traded in my old ds, with the buggy right shoulder button, at gamestop. And after using a couple of gift cards, I happily paid $33, for my brand new black 3ds. :)

I got the Cosmo black one Friday right after the price dropped along with OOT, SSF4 and Pokemon Soul silver.

I was thinking of waiting to get the Red one but I prefer my electronics to either be white, black or silver. Red one looks cool though but not worth waiting a few weeks in my opinion.

This is a slap in the face for me since red is my favorite color, oh well have to live with cosmo black.:evil:

Best deal ever.

I'm not into handheld gaming as much now that I'm older, and I'm not into 3D. I'll stick with my DS lite if I do some travelling.
