I read recently (think it was the new EGM) that Sony plans to combat the popularity of the Wii by adding a motion-sensing controller to the PS2.

Not third party... Sony. And yeah, it's going to be a ripoff of Wii. Whether you're a Sony fanboy or not, it's a fact.

Pretty bad design for the left hand if this thing was to ever be mass produced.

Think about it, you're trying to use the analog stick but the muscle of ur thumb keeps tapping the D pad.
