Quick recap:

So far it's turning out real positive. They complimented the graphics ****alot saying they mixed retro with new nice and smoothly and put in some nice dark tones. They didn't say anything bad about it. Gameplay they said is action/adventure with RPG elements in it. Sound and music wasn't talked about much except for that it fit the action. They also said that there wasn't any memorable tunes just yet.

And that's how it is. After reading that I'm really considering buying it.

I haven't tried PM for n64 but i played it for gc n beat it (was so fun!) and might get it for Wii depending on how it is. RIght now sounds good and I need more game (I'm stuck with Wii Sports n TP like one of the posters here).

I can't wait for this game.

Personally, I am looking forward to Mario Galaxy more, but I'm still really excited for this game.  I'm hyping it AAA, because of how they are making it a 2D/3D platformer/RPG with a typicle Paper Mario story, and it seems to have a lot of depth.

There are still some other good games out there worthy of buying, just because certain people rate them in the 7's, doesn't mean they aren't good. Remember, these are still someone's opinions, and it's best you generate your own opinion, and instead of wasting $60, you could rent a game to try it first

Not for me, and I appreciate the Sonic offer from the other guy, but i'll turn it off =) I have been hearing the controls get tacked on sometimes, and the music is god awful, and my little bro has these 3D sonic games, and the music is terrible... And I used to buy games that are somewhat worthy in the 7's, but I learned that it was not worth my wallet doing so. So now I only buy games that are in the high 8's, or anywhere in 9's that I am interested in. Also, with the renting portion, none of my local stores have Wii games in stock for rent.
