New Super Smash Bros in the Works?

Will there be a new smash bros and if so what should the roster include?

There is no new Smash in evelopment as of right now. They just finished one.

But of course there will be a new one, it's a killer app.

As for the character roster, I don't care. Im good with the current one, just take out Mr. Game and Watch and R.O.B.

They already got all the essentials. Anyone else is really just there for the hardcore fans.

Whoa whoa whoa. Those are two of my mains, those two, Lucario, Marth, and Pikachu. You obviously haven't played with those guys. (Not well anyway)

I'd even incourage Nintendo to take out Pit if they aren't going to make another Kid Icarus game.

You guys have clearly never felt the wrath of turtle bridge, easily one of the most ridiculous attacks in the game. Oh lest we forget all G&W's smashes. You can take guys out with an uncharged smash at appx 80% dmg.

Oh and the cake, great way to score kills. Keyblade is like link's sword but 40000 times better because no lag which combos right into manhole. Oh and manhole can be spammed which leads to great success especially on Shadow Moses Island.

Man I've gotten kills with G&W without even hitting my enemy. He's THAT magic (I'm completely serious btw. His up air)

oh and don't forget the bucket. 99.9% kill rate

ice can be spammed pretty well. The freeze attack covers both sides. Their spin attack almost always breaks shields and has 0 lag leading to massive "OMG THIS IS SO ANNOYING STOP BEING SO CHEAP". There's 2 of them so if one is grabbed the other can still attack same scenario for attacks that have lag. One gets hit other retaliates while enemy is in lag. Also if you play well you can make them do different attacks at the same time. their air attacks are pretty good especially their hammer smash. Their up smash covers wide range and their down neutral has good launch

If they do make another I'd like it for Wii, even though it is unlikely I don't thinka handheld SSB would be as fun for me. As for who they should add... well, they should have Midna from LOZ:TP and Rosalina from Super Mario Galaxy.

2-7 years. If two, we may see one for the 3DS. If not, you'll have to wait till' the next Nintendo Console.

I love the Smash Bros series andI'm definetely looking foward to a new one, but currently, I'd much rather see a Nintendo vs. Capcom...

What is this nonesense with people wanting Nintendo to take characters out? Seriously? That was one of my biggest peeves about Brawl, that they needlessly took out Pichu, Roy, and Mewtwo. Leave them all in. If you don't like them, DON'T PLAY WITH THEM!!!

That was one of the things I loved about Melee. It was literally everything the original had, AND THEN SOME. I can NOT say the same thing about Brawl.

There'll be a new game, but most likely not until the next console. But as subpar as Brawl was, I'm more than fine waiting a good while for the next one. Maybe with a little more time and a little more work, the game won't suck as much. Long Live Melee.

I honestly believe that the previous super smash brothers games were pretty good in my opinion but the fact remans that a couple of characters have the same moves, such as ganondorf and catain falcon ganondorf is copying captain falcons moves but he is just stronger and slower so they hsould take away at least one of those two and also i believe that if they end up making a new game that they should keep the final smash but they should also let the characters do there own thing during their final smash like in super smash flash 2, such as sonic being able to do attacks and not just fly around the screen like a complete and out of control idiot. and it turns out that most new comers in brawl were ok but in my opinion, there was no reason to have new characters from the same game genra. Yes mega man would be a cool chracter, but face the facts we need a little bit of a competition on the battle field thats why i think they should put mecha sonic in brawl, even though he is in the sonic game genra, he is still a character that wont stop at nothin!coreytoney727

I like all the ones in their currently, except take out:

Yoshi,Game&Watch,ROB,and Olimar.

They are just annoying and must be destroyed. I suppose only some KH and FF characters would be just perfect...add in Animal Crossing Characters, King Boo and a Mii feature would be a nice addition....

Again with taking out characters. You don't like them? Don't play with them! Why take out a character that someone else might like? For instance, you listed Yoshi. He's been my main character since the original Smash Bros. If they were to take him out (they wouldn't), then that right there would be enough for me to not even bother with the game.

This "take out X character" mindset is so selfish. If you really hate a character that badly, then just don't play with them. Honestly, truly, it really is that simple. Really. Just try it, you'll see for yourself. Problem solved.
