Man oh man oh man. What is Nintendo doing? They are calling it the WiiU? This is a continuation of the Wii. Man this is going to set these forums on fire. Coolyfett will not say anything negative about the WiiU, but he has to chuckle about it. System Wars is really about about to go crazy. Watch.

I'm really excited for this, at the start when it was announced I was sort of "Meh" but by the end my mind got blown with all the games and also developers they announced.

idk im kinda sad about this i was wanting a new system all together.... but now we get a controller that you need the wii to play it.... ill just stick with the 3ds for now.. im not gonna get another wii just for this.... unless something really good comes out for itwhitefirestrike

So yet another gimmicky console from Nintendo that finally has the power and third-party support of an Xbox 360 and Playstation 3? I wish I could say I cared.

What are the specs of it? It doesn't look HD. I am just so incredibly dissapointed because I love Nintendo and their games, but this time.... All the games they announced I can get on my 360.DeX2010

apparently the controller will have the same video processor in it as the new system since it can run the games. either it will be the most powerful controller ever or the system isnt guna be powerful as they made it seem to be with showing some of the games coming out for it.

still early and will need to see lots lots more about it.

I think one of the biggest issues is not have it turn out into another novelty like the wii after a short time

i guess we have to wait for next E3 for:
price
online capabilities
launch games
Specs
actual games

a lot left unanswered.

I personally didn't find it confusing at all (it's not difficult to grasp that Wii U is a new Nintendo console with true HD support and better hardware), but the way Nintendo presented it was piss poor. They could have gone about it in a far better, easier-to-grasp way for the knuckleheads out there.

You prolly wont need the new controller, but will miss out on majority of the features offered by the new system, if you don't have it.
