New wi-fi event for pokemon gamers - FINAL leg

If you want to get yourself the shiny legendary trio pokemon then you must do it NOW!

There's a wi-fi event going on lately. It is from feb 7 to feb 27. The schedule is as follows:

Shiny Raikou -> feb. 7 - feb. 13

Shny Entei -> feb. 14 - feb. 20

Shiny Suicune -> feb. 21 - feb. 27

You must connect and try to recieve a mystery gift via Wi-Fi.

It is for Diamond,Pearl,Platinum,Heartgold and Soulsilver.

When the three of them are transferred to black and/or white, they will unlock Zoroark.

Any suggestions where to go for Wi-Fi that is compatible? Or does mystery gift work on any WiFi connection? I know when I try to play games online none of the routers in my apartment building are the correct security level and my schools routers do the same. Never tried mystery gift or anything before though.

You should check this guide out. But I believe it will work as long as WEP security level is enabled. The DS is not compatible with WPA-PSK connections.

According to Serebii, even though it was originally announced to be over Wifi for Europe, it looks like it's also available for NA/Austrailia as well now.

A bit silly considering we just finished with our Gamestop event in NA. :evil:

Ah well, I got all 9 of my legendaries already, can't complain! Guess this gives people a second chance this time if they missed out.

hahaha luckily I got shiny raikou through GTS, but I guess a second one wouldn't be bad :D and I'll get the other two. thnxs for the info kerk12 :D

Liberty Ticket for Pokemon Black/White owners (US version) from March 6th to April 10th. This will allow you to catch Victini, the Victory Pokemon.

wow so i missed raikou at the gamestop event and when i try to get it on wifi it says my card already has the limit of mystery gifts or something... but i never got raikou! whats going on?rubber-chicken

Have you been deleting your old wonder cards? You can only have 3 of them max so you'll need to delete old one's to pick up new gifts.

Go to Mystery Gift ---> Check Card ---> Select whichever card you want to delete ----> Press A and then Trash.
You do not lose anything. Wonder Cards are proof that you have recieved the event once. :)

WHAT THE HELL NINTENDO?

Why is it that you made the DSi unable to connect to a BT HomeHub (which is one of the most popular internet connections in the UK), except through the Advanced Set Up, which only lets you use the Internet with that connection, you can't play Pokemon online with it making WiFi events impossible to get, I WANT THE LEGENDARY DOGS FFS!

Suicune is now available from the Nintendo Wifi mystery gift. It became available at 6pm Central time, 9am Tokyo time.COOT3R
