New Wii Hardware?

The rumours say it's hard drive that is coming. Japan will soon have Neo Geo games on the VC and they'll need more spaces to have them.

All I rememberis someone saying they heard about a hardware reveal a few days ago,and now everyone thinks it's fact.

That's interesting. I don't mind add-on's and a DVD enabled Wii, while nice, I could live without. I just don't want some huge re-design like there was from the DS to the DS-Lite. If it happens I won't be too surprised since that's the way business works, but nevertheless that would be frustrating.

Yeah, that would have been a dumb move anyway, especially when the Wii is still doing good.

Most people seem to be saying some sort of 'external hardware upgrade'. What is that exactly? Do you like buy it and attatch it to the wii? Can someone explain that for me?deluxemando

People want a hard drive connected by USB to the back of the Wii for really no reason at all.

That's the thing, right now there's no reason for any sort of upgrade and you have people talking about adding HD?

More memory will be needed soon. 3 things, first Neogeo Games. Second an XBLA like channel is coming, there's 2 games in production right now. And third, downloadable content with some games like Guitar Hero 3

Demos wouldn't be bad either.

Its won't be a standalone unit maybe a addon piece of hardware like a hard drive. I just got mine a couple of weeks ago.Battlestar3DVD

I hope you're right. A console upgrade would suck :evil:. I don't really need a harddrive, though.
