Well, today I finally managed to find a Wii at EB Games. Split the cost with my dad, since he wanted one too. So far it's been great fun, and I don't think I've seen my parents spend this much time on a game console since NES days. I just have one quick question:

I noticed when I'm moving around the menus and such, even if I'm holding the remote perfectly still, the cursor on screen still jiggles back and forth quite a bit. It makes it difficult to use the keyboard in particular, since the keys are so close together; it wiggles between them and makes it hard to hit the right one. I tried adjusting the sensitivity and no matter what I set it to, it still does it. Does that happen to anyone else, and is there anything I can do to fix it? I don't remember the other Wii I played with beforehand doing that, although all I really did on it was play a few rounds of bowling.

that happens with me too. I THINK it is because of sunlight hitting the sensor bar or there is something interferring with the link between the wii-mote and the sensor bar.

When that happens to me i close the curtains and im fine...

check if it could be another light source or microwaves ect, it's all in the Wii manual.

sit further back from the sensor bar, you're too close.

Make sure that the sensor bar is on an even surface, no outside light or other interferences, and make sure the settings are right, if the bar is above the T.V. make sure you set it to above T.V., if it is below the T.V., make sure you set it to above T.V.

I understand what you mean. Looks like you have parkinson's disease right? Well what I did was, I moved the sensor bar from the bottom of my screen to the top (try experimenting with the sensor bar's position) and changed my sensor bar sensitivity to 5.

It says sensitivities set to 3 is the default for people who are 3 to 8 feet away from their TVs, but sensitivity 5 gives me absolute precision, and I couldn't be happier. I don't notice the shaking at all while I'm aiming it at the TV.

So try the following:

1. Experiment with the sensor bar position.

2. Experiment with the sensitivity on your wii remote until you find something that clicks.
