new Wii screens for the force unleashed that justify.....

Gamespot released 3 new screens for the Force Unleashed Wii, and by judging the 3 screenshots, this is proof that there is in no way the Wii version is a PS2 port. Here's the link

You got it wrong. Thats not the Wii or PS2 version.

You can tell by the lines in the pics that they were taken from actual game footage. Games usually look way better when in motion.

those are pretty odd screenshots...they're either:

A. - very impressive Force Unleashed Wii screenshots

or

B. - very un-impressive Force Unleashed XBOX 360 or PS3 screenshots

unfortunately, it's probably B, but that's pretty shifty of Gamespot to post pics of a game that's from a different console...someone should probably inform them

I hate how they do that. They either make the game look really good or really bad. I wish they would take a hint from IGN. At least IGN doesn't mix console pics up.

No, this doesn't mean anything. Red Steel has screenshots this good and so do plenty of multi-platform games. Just because it's in the Wii pictures doesn't mean that it hasn't been doctored up or isn't a screenshot from antoher version.

Check that vid, they show footage for the Wii version and others aswell... In my opinion it looks pretty amazing and it's not just a PS2 port version...

The others look good. The Wii version still looks like a PS2 port.

The lightning and shattered glass is the worst, that's where you can really see where the PS2 is holding the Wii version back. :(

is it me or do gamespot always post pictures that are not even wii screens, do they do this on purpose? so that us wii fans gets excited then we find out that they was 360 pictures? i've noticed they do it a hell of alot!.iceldc

I've posted a thread about this in the Site Enhancements Forum. It is pretty annoying when you can't be certain which platform the screens are for.

Isn't the PS2 and the Wii version being developed by different production teams. I know that the Nintendo versions are definitely being developed separately than the others because of many interviews I've watched about how the developers are incorporating the Wiimote and the Stylus (Wii and DS, respectfully).

With that in mind, I don't think the Wii version is just a PS2 port.

The PS2 and Wii versions are being handled by the same dev team, Krome Studios.
