OMG, Nintendo will be making another Zelda and Mario game? I never would have guessed!Rocky32189:lol: Seriously, why people even cogitated the possibility of no new Zelda and Mario games is beyond me.

It's not the fact that the game's coming that people go googoogaga over, it's the fact that it's official.
They are using Mario WAY too much. First Super Mario Sluggers now a new Mario game.... they should really use a new IP.
Althought a new Zelda built ground up for the WII is nice.

The next Mario platformer won't be for the Wii, it will come next gen.

Well when was the last time more than one Mario game was released during a console lifespan? SNES I guess. Seems like they take their sweet time with the 3D Marios. I honestly did not expect another Wii Mario.

They can use as much Mario as they want. The guy's earned it. Also, I don't consider spin-off titles to be Mario games perse, but rather party games, unless they are Mario Kart, in which they are a universally fantastic game. But I don't think it is too much Mario, since this is only his second big game on the Wii. (Paper Mario is another series imo.)Hopefully the new Mario Bros. game is better than Galaxy was. I just don't know if I want to shell out 50 more dollars for a Mario game if it isn't going to be as fun and satisfying as Sunshine was.Ovirew
ya cuse it wasnt like mario galaxy was goty or anything

Once. If you are referring to Mario All-Stars, that was an updated collection of all of the NES Mario games, so I don't really consider that to be a Mario game. And Yoshi's Island was a Yoshi game.Hopefully the new Mario Bros. game is better than Galaxy was. I felt the same way. Galaxy was way to easy which in my mind made it less fun.
I wonder if they will make a Super Mario Bros. 4 for the Wii. it will have the graphics of the Wii, the power-ups from the DS (plus a few more would be nice), and the challenge of the NES Mario games.

Or even better, make New Super Mario Bros. 2 for WiiWare.:D

I would say yes but New Super Mario Bros. was way to easy, so if they make a second it will probably be easy also.

Make it as hard as Super Mario Bros. 3 then.:)
