Now I don't really care much about online but this is a bit rediculus...

So they are holding off online to 2008? I thought Nintendo was releasing online games this year (SSBB for example).

OBVIOUSLY you do not pay attention to what they read. THIRD PARTY deveoplers.........SSBB is not third party.........they never said online in general.........

The fact of the matter is not that it's gossip. It's the fact that Nintendo is actually preventing third party online support right now.

Your basing that completely off of a site that has this labled as "gossip".

So yes the fact that it is gossip is that I tend to not look at it as "fact".

Even on that link the site says "IF this is true..."

Didn't Ubisoft announced an online title for March 20 and Elebits isn't the first to use Wiiconnect 24?

I misread the article earlier, sorry. But why would the prevent third parties from making online games? What does Nintendo gain/profit from this?

Think what you like, it's gossip because Ben Herman makes the statement that it will probably not have any online till 2008. It doesn't change the fact that he states Nintendo is holding off.

Ture, they were slow, But at least they sent them now.
And we will be getting our First Online game on March 20th.

I agree with you completely. Doesn't change the fact that the only thing we can do online 5 months after launch is buy stuff or browse.

How is it confirmed? By what company rep? Confirmed because of boxart? Confirmed because of a generis multiplatform description on their site? Please. Give me a break.

It isn't confirmed until a Ubisoft rep says it's confirmed. Do you actually think Nintendo is going to let Blazing Angels be the first online game here? Especially when they have said over and over Pokemon would be. March 20th is 2 1/2 weeks away. That gives no time for Pokemon to be released first.

We all want it to be true but it's highly unlikely that it is.

No it hasnt, if your talking about the main page which says 16 online, they just copied and pasted from the 360. It also says it runs in 720p.
