King Diamond/Mercyful Fate would be my first choice but, evidently, being on Guitar Hero: Metallica was more than enough for a band that, while incredibly awesome, is not really that big. Other than that, I'd go with an Iron Maiden game. For some reason, if any company decides to make an Iron Maiden game, I have a feeling that Harmonix would be it... Activison/Neversoft... I don't know why, but I don't see them making an Iron Maiden game.
EDIT: Even better, an Iron Maiden vs Judas Priest game! It's like the Ninjas vs Pirates debate for us metalheads, and a video game based on it would make us oh so happy.
ugh... i would rather never have another GH game again and just get DLC... Guitar hero is a washed up franchise that should be dead by now. garrett_duffmanGuitar hero 5 is coming out in the fall. I might get it, because i never got WT and i want to play drums and bass.

I think they should stick to making games that appeal to the wide majority. The serialized way of doing things is the right way I must say in this case. Madden, and many other sports franchises follow this, and while I don't play those games, it would work for GH and RB as well.
While keeping with the serialized way of things, they need to come out with a way of fully transferring all DLC from game to game. This is a concrete way of doing things that keeps everything in order and simplified.
I don't agree with the current method of doing things via devotional games. I don't think there's any band out there that deserves their own game disc, but I do think many deserve a spot for their CD's on the DLC list. The Pearl Jam album, the Judas Priest album, etc., is a good example. Just make the DLC the expansion, don't put out another disc for 50-60$ every month.
That being said, there are people out there that do buy these devoted CD's and we wouldn't still be seeing them if they didn't sell and weren't marketable. If you don't agree with it, don't invest in them. Money speaks louder than words sometimes.

I will still wait for the reviews however to see if this game is worth dropping 200 bucks.
