Next Mario Game?

This question has probably been asked alot, but does anyone know of any plans for the next mario game? The time seems right for an announcement.

I don't think theres any Mario game coming out this Fall, but Bowser's Inside Story just came out a few weeks ago.

Other than Galaxy 2 next year and NSMB Wii by the end of the year...I don't know about anything else. Mario and Luigi: BIS came out yesterday...

ohhhhhh okay, because I was like I thought that would be obvious by now. Yeah, I'm not sure what's next for mario. Maybe another spinoff game perhaps......duffham

Lol I really don't want a new Mario announcement. Only if it's a Mario Sport game.

I hope they keep making Mario games forever.Mario is the best and especially that they are bringing the new SMBros games back to the Nintendo console. You think they are going to stop making Mario games when their so popular, but yeaIalso hope we get to see a new Donkey Kong Country game for the Wii. IREALLY miss those great side scrolling games.

Maybe they will release Super Mario Sunshine New play Controls or Super Mario Sunshine 2 Possibly a Mario Basketball videogameHawkEye1997

I would give anything for a Sunshine sequel. I thoroughly enjoyed the game. It didn't feel like a traditional mario game, but the lands were so immersive to me. :)

No, I know what I'm doing. Nintendo announced not one, but two Mario games for the Wii months ago. Any gamer would have known that by now. TV, the internet, and even the Nintendo channel is where they were shown. It is a stupid question. Even 360 and PS3 fanboys know that.

No, I know what I'm doing. Nintendo announced not one, but two Mario games for the Wii months ago. Any gamer would have known that by now. TV, the internet, and even the Nintendo channel is where they were shown. It is a stupid question. Even 360 and PS3 fanboys know that.

Im sorry man, but I didn't know that. I don't consider my myself a harcore gamer, nor a semi-frequent gamer at that. I'm probably less than average by most standards, and outside of Super Mario Sunshine and Mario 1-3, I've never completed any other Mario game, nor do I expose myself to anything "Nintendo" on any level. I just thought a quick question on the wii forums would be the best way to get a quick simple answer without any juvenile responses from jerks like yourself. 8) Everyone else here has managed to provide a decent answer except you.
