nhl 09 wii

has anybody heard about ea sports and nintendo agreeing to make nhl 09 for wii?

I have found absolutely nothing on EA's website about NHL 09... for any system. IGN lists the game as being for 360 and PS3... but not for Wii. As far as I'm concerned, the jury's still out- but it's not looking good.

on the 2K side of things, they have just confirmed that NHL 2k9 will NOT come to Wii. So it's all up to EA.

however, I am REALLY praying that we get an NHL game, if only so hockey fans won't have to play that piece of bear poo Kidz sports ice hockey.

They should make NFL like Pro Evolution is on the Wii, I couldn't see it working any other way unless they just had a boring control method.bobbetybob

1.Button controls

control stick- movement.

A button- change player/pass

B-

Motion Controls

Thrust Wiimote/Nunchuk forward- check (while on defense/no puck)

A (hold)+ Wiimote swing - one timer (slap shot depending on speed of swing)

B(hold) + Wiimote swing- Shoot (slapshot depending on the speed)

Wiimote swing- deque (stick handle)

Nunchuk swing- speed up

...

I can't beleive EA hasn't tried it yet to be honest

I did at one point, but that was a couple months ago. They could have changed their minds about that now considering how well Nintendo is doing with the Wii.

You'd think that if the Wii can get Madden, then it could get NHL, too.ItsEvolution
