they should make nhl for wii, some people on the forum have mentioned it, but i dont think it would need motion control, like just have A to shoot B to pass maybe to dekes with the d pad, i would love to see it
I'd love to see an NHL game for the Wii! I've posted in the past how I think motion controls could be intelligently used without being gimmicky, but even with limited motion controls I'd just like some hockey on the Wii :)
Edit: I was thinking about this. Tell me if you think it could work.
There could be 4 variations of deking. (Spin-o-ramas could use - and +) A + sideways, A + down / up, trigger + sideways, trigger + down / up
Shooting would depends on holding the Z or C button on the nunchuk for a slap or wrist shot. Wrist shot you move the wiimote to the side, pull back and then launch forward. Slapshots just up and down.
Hitting and pokechecking with the Z or C button. Shot blocking with Trigger + A. Slashing with anything left over.
Hoping that one of those games EA was talking about for the Wii a month or so ago would be a Wii exclusive NHL game just because of how awesome the controls could work.
