I don't see it as a must-buy. In fact from what I have seen from the game reflects what kind of effort the devs put into it and in all honesty I'm not too impressed.

Anyways boxart is nice looking, but Sega hasnt given me much reason to trust them recently so I wont say whether it will be good or not.

I think we can agree though it's definitely a must-try.
The original was overlooked but praised by its players.
Usually a good indication to at least give it a try.

edit: same with battalion wars if i remember correctly. I'm so glad these games are given another chance on Wii.

it wouldnt be worth having the Wifi Logo on the box if it Just had the weather link. If it did Madden would have had that last year. Im thinkin some sort of multiplayer or DLC of some kind. ryustruck

I remember playing the orginal on the Saturn and even if it was just a port of that it would be worth the cash alone. This game SHOULD be excellent with alot of replayability. If SEGA drops the ball with this one if doesn't bode well for SEGA as devs.

this game looks so great i paly the first one on my saturn a lot and i was so glad when a squeal was annoced

I remember reading a developer say that in addition to the Weather channel, you will also be able to exhange ITEMS or MASKS via WiiConnect24. This is still lackluster. Online Co-op in thestory mode would be nice. Heck I wouldn't mind their being some online multiplayer mini-games for NiGHTS.
