To those that have imported their system from Japan, I understand that the 3DS will be region locked to only games purchased from the region you got your 3DS. But, I was wondering whether this will go for any imported DS games from Japan and Europe such as Maestro ! , Jump Ultimate Stars etc ??? I'm purchasing a North American 3DS and I really really want to Import other DS games and I was just wondering if they will play on a 3DS.
I've seen people playing other regions DS games on their Japanese 3DS it seems like only the 3DS games are region locked, so you should be able to play Japanese DS games on it.
Don't know if you still check this, but after I saw it I put one of my girlfriend's korean games into my 3ds. Plays fine, so yeah it's just the 3ds games that are region locked.
