just noticed the Shop Channel ticker saying "Nintendo Channel updated", went to investigate, and sure enough, today (11/13/08) Nintendo released an update to the Nintendo Channel
I'm glad I'm here to help. :) It's to fix a glitch in the channel that many users have been facing recently. Something about a superspeed version of the channel... Don't believe me? My proof rests below.
I've been having problems with the NC. Some times the icon will stay blank, other times it would just say Nintendo Channel. Once I left my Wii on in the menu and the after a while the head lines started zipping by. I even erased the channel and it still does it. I just downloaded the update and I'm still having problems. I'll check later on to see if it's fixed.
