Not likely but maybe some announcements of third party titles will be part of the Direct. Solid release dates for Tennis and Yoshi would be helpful too. I'd also expect some mention of Kirby.

There will definitely be some third-party stuff. In fact, it's already confirmed that there will be at least one M-rated game so we can say with certainty that at minimum Wolfenstien II will be mentioned, and there will surely be other third-party stuff.

Hoping for an announcement or two that really surprises me, but I'm not holding out hope. I would think the big announcements will be saved for E3. Will probably get release dates for a few games and some third party titles announced.

That was an unexpectedly solid Direct. Nintendo looks to be getting its azz in gear.

Sounds like it was a pretty decent Direct. I realize a lot of these games are ports, but I think it's a good sign that Nintendo is strengthening ties with 3rd-party devs.

Dillon getting another game is great since it shows that Ninty hasn't forgotten about their smaller IPs. Luigi's Mansion and Mario & Luigi 3 getting updated versions is cool though I wonder why there's no love for Partners in Time? Okami, Undertale, Dark Souls and South Park getting Switch versions is great news - though again it's unfortunate that it's taken Ubisoft this long to realize that there is an audience for South Park games on the Switch. More Octopath Traveler and No More Heroes 3 info, cool!

But that Smash announcement, that was just beautiful. First impressions are that this is a brand new Smash Bros. game, even. It'll be interesting to see what's new if that's the case.

Good direct! Can't wait to hear more about Smash on the Switch. Hoping it's not a port of the Wii U version.
