FINALLY! Mario Party! Oh my beloved! I love the Mario Parties on the N64. Best ones in my opinion. MP2 was the only Mario party for N64 that I didn't own. Funny how it came out on Virtual Console first. I plan on buying all three when they come out.

I had a feeling they would bring out one of their bigger games the week of Christmas. The one I was thinking would be released was Donkey Kong 64, but the Mario Party games did cross my mind (though I thought the original would be released first). Personally, I'm probably not going to get this one for a while, but I'm glad it's there for me when I want it. I've been interested in getting into the Mario Party games, now I can. If I try it, and find out it's not for me, at least it's there for people who would like it more.

I really don't think Mario Party 1 will come if Nintendo skipped to Mario Party 2. And that's because of the spinning mini-games from Mario Party1 that caused injuries back on the N64 days.

About damn time a good Nintendo 64 game made it into the Virtual Console. I'm just curious why Mario Party 1 isn't there yet.

I'll eventually get Mario Party 2. It was the one I spent the least time with back when Mario Party was still new. It was fun. :)

I'll wait until they release Mario Part 3. I remember seeing an awesome trailer for Frobot recently, not sure how good of a game it is though.

Having a good VC console is always welcome, specially if it is from the N64, but I prefer Mario Party 1. It was the best in the whole 10-game series.

Not at all. That's the proper way to do it, as far as I'm concerned.

I posted this on this thread ( http://www.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=27532717&tag=topics%3Btitle) about Mario Party 1 not being on the VC.

Back in the N64 days, Mario Party 1 was a pain to control the spinning mini-games. Those mini-games caused several injuries to the palms. Nintendo released a glove around that time. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/671601.stm

I have a huge feeling you won't see the original Mario Party.

The spinning mini-games? You mean the ones where you had to rotate the joystick like crazy? I loved those! Haha and I always ended up hurting my palm. I don't see why they can't do that on the GC or Classic Controllers.
